''How my brothers ganged up against me & Jude threatened to slap me'' - Peter Okoye

Peter Okoye had an explosive interview two days ago, before his twin brother Paul Okoye's emotional plea today, and I hope you all are ready to be amazed by all the revealing, messy details he dished out.




Fighting back tears, Peter became the first of the Okoye brothers to approach a media outfit and reveal all that has been a private issue for years. He told Thenet.ng that Psquare fans must understand that this is the end of the band, as they know it.
‘The truth is’, he says, as his daughter Aliona comes in, seeking help to fix her toy, ‘the fans should be happy that we were able to drop the ‘Double Trouble’ album in 2014. What’s happening now should have happened then.
‘The issue was the fact that I was in Psquare and it felt like I was in fear. If I don’t do
this, Psquare will break-up, if I don’t do that, Psquare will scatter.’
To be honest with you, I feel if our mum was still alive, we would have pushed her to her grave with this whole thing. It’s really sad that even with everything going on, I still stand with Paul’.

Four years ago, I told Jude that he needs to step down as our manager, because I didn’t want to disrespect him as a brother, but this is business, we have to structure it. And Jude said to me that there’s a way I’ll talk to him, and he’ll slap me. So I kept quiet’.
I hear lot of people think it’s all a stunt, and that’s what I really want to put an end to. It’s not a stunt at all. It has been going on for a while’.
‘When Jude didn’t come to my wedding, people started saying we broke up and then others said it’s a stunt, then when Paul posted those lyrics stuff on Instagram people thought it was a stunt too, but the truth is that, this is not and has never been a publicity stunt’.
‘I am telling you the truth, I am moving on because people are already getting tired of this Psquare brouhaha, now I have my manager Olatunde Michaels and I expect everybody to respect that. I am a family man, a musician, singer and dancer, if I don’t move on, Psquare will collapse and there’ll be nothing left’.
‘Already Paul has done two songs without me but no one is saying anything, he did a song with his artiste ‘Muno’ with his name as Rudeboy did they feature me? He did a song with Tiwa Savage, did they feature me?’
Last week Yemi Alade sent me her album track list to help her share on Instagram, guess what I saw, she had a song with Psquare that I didn’t even know about. Only Paul did it.
Because I announced a new management, people feel am the one going solo, but Paul has already gone solo, he’s moved on and didn’t need to announce any new management because he still works with Jude, so I had to announce mine and believe it or not, people are booking me for gigs already’.
‘And guess what, I’ll still perform Psquare songs, nobody can stop me, nobody can stop Paul too, we didn’t have a contract with Jude, so I have the right to perform Psquare songs especially the ones I took part in’.


‘Paul came to me and said if I want Jude to step down it’s not a problem, but it’ll mean that he (Paul) will go solo. The first time word got out about Psquare breaking up, a lot of people called us, senators, governors, and people like that.
In fact three of us were once in a private jet to go and see someone who wanted to resolve our issues and we didn’t speak to each other all through the flight. At the end of the day, I swallowed my pride for peace to reign and allowed Jude to remain as our manager’.
‘I and Paul stay together in this estate and the last time I saw him was about a week ago.’

Truth is, I’ve not been in talking terms with Paul since December 2015 and that was why I travelled in January because I had a lot on my mind. Something happened at Mavin Studios last year that broke my heart.

Controversial daughter of ex governor of Oyo state, Kemi Olunloyo said that she was abducted and tortured on the orders of her father.

Kemi took to Facebook to update her fans since most of them have been asking about her whereabouts.

Kemi wrote: “Thank u everyone.I was kidnapped, tortured, gun held to my forehead .Tasered and a knife held to my throat. This happened on March 26th 2015 and I did not vote in any of the elections. I was hospitalized. All this happened on my father’s orders.

PDP To APC Lawmakers- Accept Fayose’s Peace Offer

PDP has reacted to Ekiti impeachment issues, saying aggrieved APC lawmakers should accept Fayose’s peace offer.

The party National Public Secretary, Olisa Metuh released a statement on this issue on Monday, April 20, 2015.

It read:

“Governor Fayose’s new posture is a step in the right direction geared towards achieving the much desired peace and development in the interest of the masses who freely gave him their mandate. It is in this spirit that we charge all political stakeholders in Ekiti state especially the APC lawmakers to embrace peace and work with their governor to move their state forward. The unity, stability and progress of the state must be paramount and placed over and above all personal and group interest at all times”

Report: Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Condition ‘Has Not Changed,’

Despite Bobby Brown saying his daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown is now “awake” and her aunt Tina Brown claiming she’s “no longer on life support,” a source has come forward with a completely different story.

“Bobbi Kristina’s condition has not changed since she was admitted to [the] hospital,” the source said Monday.

Her father Bobby Brown, 46, also recently spread hope that his daughter had made progress.

“Bobbi is awake,” he said during a concert in Dallas on Saturday. “She’s watching me,” he added.

Bobbi Kristina, who is the daughter of the R&B singer and the late Whitney Houston, has been hospitalized since Jan. 31 when she was found facedown in the bathtub at her Georgia home.

Doctors attempted to take her out of her medically induced coma in late February, but she began having violent seizures and was placed back in the coma.

Buhari Has No Certificate, Doyin Okupe Insists

The Senior Special Adviser to the President on Public Affairs, Doyin Okupe, has said that he stands by his words that the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, is not an electable leader.

Many critics of the All Progressives Congress candidate, including the Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, who, in the buildup to the March 28 presidential election, condemned Buhari, had subsequently apologised after he won the election.

But Okupe, on Monday said he would stand by his words that Buhari, who he said had no West African Senior School Certificate, was not eligible to contest for President.

He stated on his official Facebook page:

These are very interesting times in our nation.
An election has come and gone. A victor has emerged and the loser has conceded. Yet some of our folks are behaving as if we have just gone through a war between two hostile nations. APC agents all over the place are unrelenting in their tirades of abuses, insults and lies against President Jonathan, his aides and supporters.

It is shameful that we are still saddled with denying falsehood & fabrications in the social media and even hither to highly respected Newspapers. How many lies, deliberate falsehood and evil propaganda, outright curses and attacks must we suffer just because we lost an election in which we were never disgraced.
Buhari polled 15m(56%) while Jonathan scored 12m (46%).
Those who talk to us disparagingly should respect the sentiments of the 12 million who voted for Jonathan. Of course we have our reservations about the results but we will pass on that for now.

We have lost this election but this is not and can never be a crime. We are all Nigerians and haven lost does not make us less. We should be allowed to bow out peacefully and constitutionally on the 29th of May.

Yes I said Buhari was not electable. I also said his victory will not happen. I said and I still insist that Buhari has no WASC certificate. I said a lot of things to promote my candidate and many things to put his opponent down.

I have no regrets for any of the statements I made. Lai Mohammed said worse. This is the nature of politics. For any one who cares to listen. We will be back Period.

Xenophobia: MTN Nigeria Warns 6,000 Nigerians will Lose Jobs if They are Attacked

Hours after two groups protested in its Abuja and Benin offices against the violent killing of foreigners in its home country, South Africa, MTN Nigeria on Monday warned that should there be attacks on its facilities, it might be forced to close shop. And 99 per cent of its over 6,000 workforce in the country, who are Nigerians, would be thrown into the labour market.

According to the Corporate Service Executive, MTN Nigeria, Mr. Wale Goodluck, there are only 12 expatriates working for the company in the country, compared to a workforce of 6,000 Nigerians. It also said that calls for the boycott of its services were unjustified as such an action would affect its
support chain, which could cause another 500,000 Nigerians to lose their means of livelihood.

Punch reports that Goodluck said:

“So, if people go ahead with their threats to attack our facilities, what that means is that we may be forced to close down the business in Nigeria and about 6,000 Nigerians that make up 99 per cent of our workforce will be unemployed.

Then, when you look at our support chain, we have about 500,000 Nigerians gainfully employed. So, boycotting our services simply means destroying so many other Nigerian businesses and making over 500,000 other Nigerians to lose their jobs.

This business supports a lot of businesses across the length and breadth of Nigeria. Many of the businesses that are affiliated to South Africa are in the retail space, supporting the growth of Nigeria and employing so many Nigerians.”

He noted that the company had spent in excess of $15bn on capital expenditure growing the telecommunications business in Nigeria.

“We see no revenge of Xenophobia and we commend the role the Nigerian High Commissioner in South Africa has played; at least there has been no fatality on the part of any Nigerian,” Goodluck added.

22-year-old Bobbi has been fighting for her life since she was found unconscious in her bath on January 31.

Heartbreaking Photos of a 12-year-old Boy whose Head Hangs at a 180-degree Angle

The desperate parents of a boy whose head hangs at a 180-degree angle have admitted they would rather he died than continue to suffer.

Mahendra Ahirwar, 12, from Madhya Pradesh in central India, suffers from a rare condition that makes his neck bend and his head hang from his body. His weak backbone means he can't stand or walk and is restricted to a sitting position. Mahendra can just about crawl but needs help to eat and go to the toilet.

According toDailyMail, his father Mukesh Ahirwar, 40, and mother Sumitra Ahirwar, 35, who both work as labourers when they can, say they have consulted more than 50 doctors across India but none
could diagnose his condition.

'I cannot see him suffer anymore,' said Sumitra. 'Watching his life is devastating.

'He cannot do anything by himself. He just sits in a corner of the room all day. It's no life. I have to carry him like a baby everywhere but he is 12 years old, how will I carry him when he grows even older?

If doctors cannot treat my son it is better that God takes him.’

Shockingly, members of the community have blamed Mahendra's condition on Mukesh's past sins and believe he is to blame for his son's disability.

Sumitra, who also has healthy 16 and 10-year-old sons and a 14-year-old daughter, did not visit a doctor when she was pregnant with Mahendra. Mukesh said:

‘Our other children had all been born normally with no problems so we never thought to consult a doctor or have an ultrasound done with Mahendra, and he was born at home just like his siblings.'

The couple only noticed their son’s head was starting to hang when he was about six months old.

'At first we thought he was just a little weak and he'd be fine in time, but by his third birthday he wasn't able to keep his head upright at all,' his father explained.

Mukesh, who earns about Rs200 (£2) a day on construction sites, has borrowed money from his friends and relatives to help find medical treatment for his son.

But he said two years ago he decided to stop taking Mahendra to see any doctors, adding:

'I took him to all the hospitals that I could afford. Even India's premier hospital, All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, but after spending two weeks there doctors failed to tell us if my son could be treated. With a broken heart we returned home and decided to raise him and try to give him as comfortable a life that we can.'

Mukesh added:

'People say bad things about him, and they often laugh at him. It really hurts us.

'We cannot tolerate people's attitudes and discrimination. They say I must have committed some terrible sins and this is why he is suffering, it’s awful.'

Mahendra doesn't go to school so his only friends are his siblings and his cousins.

Dr Shashidhar Tatavarthy, an ear, nose and throat consultant at Delhi's Artemis Hospital, thinks Mahendra has a muscular disorder.
He said:

‘This is one of the rarest of rare cases. His condition could be due to a spine anomaly or muscular disorder, but it can only be concluded after a thorough investigation.'

Mukesh is still hoping for a miracle.

'If doctors can treat babies born with severe disabilities like two heads and give them lifesaving operations then why not my son?' he said…

I still have so many hopes and dreams for him. I want to see him go to school and play with other kids. I want to see him living a normal life and I am hoping that my wish will be fulfilled one day.'
